A shop relocation is more than a change of address. From display furniture to stockroom contents, we help organize your retail move around access, store layout and the practical steps between closing one space and opening another.
Retail & Store Moving. It starts with the details.
The right questions at the start make the next steps clearer. Explore the parts of your move we’ll plan together.
The distance changes. The care doesn’t.
GIVE EVERYTHING ITS NEXT PLACE.
Create a list of counters, shelving, display tables and movable fixtures. Share the new floor plan and identify anything fixed to walls or floors that needs a separate removal or installation arrangement.
02 / THE EXPERIENCE
A clear plan. Care at every step.
From the first inventory to the receiving plan, each stage is built around your business.
01THE KRATOS EXPERIENCE
01 — THE STORE PLAN
Plan around opening day.
Separate stock, display pieces and movable fixtures into a clear inventory. Work backward from your reopening date and identify the products you need first.
Confirm mall or landlord access rules, loading times and the new store layout before setting the move window.
Your reopening sets the sequence.
02 — STOCK & DISPLAYS
Pack by department.
Label stock by department and destination shelf or zone. Review the protection needed for glass displays, mirrors and larger furniture.
Keep high-priority stock separate. Fixed fittings, electrical work and installation need their own agreed arrangements.
Organized out. Organized in.
03 — THE NEW STOREFRONT
Make room to merchandise.
Direct labelled stock and displays into the planned areas, then check the inventory with your receiving contact. Leave space for your team to unpack and merchandise.
Schedule fixture installation, point-of-sale setup and final opening checks with the people responsible for them.
A clearer path to opening.
03 / BEFORE MOVING DAY
A little preparation. A smoother start.
Your staff, premises and equipment all play a part in the relocation. Give your team a shared inventory and a clear contact for moving-day decisions.
Start with the details below. Your Kratos agent will review the scope, access and timing with you before the move is confirmed.

04 / THE MOVING DIARIES
Every move has a story.
The boxes. The busy days. The fresh starts. Follow along for a closer look at moving day.
Can you move stock and display furniture together?+
We can review both as part of the same relocation. Share an inventory and identify fragile or high-value products so packing and transport requirements are clear.
Do you move stores inside shopping centres?+
Share the centre’s service entrance, loading and contractor-access requirements. The proposed move must fit the access and time windows approved by management.
Are fixed shop fittings included?+
Fixed fixtures may need a separate contractor for removal and installation. Tell us what is attached to the building so responsibilities can be confirmed in advance.
Can we move after the store closes?+
After-hours moving can be discussed subject to crew availability and building permissions. Include your closing time, handover deadline and preferred delivery window.
How do we prepare fragile merchandise?+
Identify the items and their packaging needs before the quote is finalized. Ask about packing support and keep labelled inventory records for each box or display group.
Can you help with a temporary store or pop-up?+
Tell us the installation and collection dates, inventory and access requirements. We can review a move into temporary retail space and the later return or onward move.
