The distance changes. The care doesn’t.
EVERY MIXER. EVERY PREPARATION TABLE.
Record the size and weight of mixers, ovens, proofers, refrigeration units and benches. Photographs and manufacturer handling instructions help identify access constraints and any specialist work required.
02 / THE EXPERIENCE
A clear plan. Care at every step.
From the first inventory to the receiving plan, each stage is built around your business.
01THE KRATOS EXPERIENCE
01 — THE BAKERY PLAN
Know every oven and mixer.
List ovens, mixers, proofers, display cases and preparation tables with their dimensions and weights. Share the production schedule and access at both premises.
Identify specialist handling and utility connections early. Your equipment supplier or qualified trades should confirm preparation and installation requirements.
Your equipment shapes the plan.
02 — PREPARE & PACK
Protect the tools of your trade.
Cool, empty and clean equipment before the agreed collection time. Pack trays, utensils and smallwares by workstation so they can be found at the new bakery.
Secure removable parts as advised by the manufacturer. Ingredients and chilled products need an agreed transport plan separate from the equipment move.
A labelled place for each part.
03 — ARRIVAL & SETUP
Plan for the first bake.
Position delivered items according to your bakery layout and review the inventory with your receiving contact. Leave working space for installation teams.
Qualified technicians should reconnect and test equipment. Allow time for cleaning, checks and setup before restarting production.
A considered return to production.
03 / BEFORE MOVING DAY
A little preparation. A smoother start.
Your staff, premises and equipment all play a part in the relocation. Give your team a shared inventory and a clear contact for moving-day decisions.
Start with the details below. Your Kratos agent will review the scope, access and timing with you before the move is confirmed.

YOUR PREPARATION CHECKLIST
Good details. Better planning.
List each appliance with its dimensions, weight and model.
Measure doors, corridors and the loading route at both sites.
Arrange disconnection and preparation with your equipment team.
Label trays, tools and supplies by their new workstations.
04 / THE MOVING DIARIES
Every move has a story.
The boxes. The busy days. The fresh starts. Follow along for a closer look at moving day.
Each item needs an assessment based on its dimensions, weight, condition and access. Heavy ovens or specialist machinery may require additional handling arrangements that must be confirmed before booking.
Is equipment installation included?+
Installation, utility connections and commissioning are separate from the move unless expressly agreed. Coordinate them with qualified trades and your equipment supplier.
How should we prepare bakery tools and trays?+
Pack smaller tools and supplies in labelled containers by workstation. Keep an inventory of trays, tins and fragile display items so unpacking follows your kitchen layout.
What happens to ingredients and refrigerated products?+
Plan ingredients and perishable stock separately. Temperature-controlled transport should not be assumed; discuss your requirements with the team before deciding what travels with the move.
Can you move the front-of-house display area too?+
Include counters, movable display furniture, seating and packaged contents in the inventory. Flag glass cabinets and fixed fixtures so preparation and handling can be assessed.
How far ahead should we plan a bakery relocation?+
Start as soon as you know your premises and likely dates. Equipment assessment, trades, access permissions and your production schedule all need to fit together before the final move is booked.
